Export of construction site traffic data to the tax authorities

With the Navisystem system, you can easily and automatically collect real-time data about employees working on construction sites. By using the service, you save time and avoid problems with the tax authorities. Reporting travel information is the responsibility of the main contractor on the construction site.

How do construction site access control and automatic export work in practice?

1. When an employee logs in by showing their Valtti card at the time-clock device, a user is automatically created for them in Navisystem (employee name, username and tax number). Alternatively, logging in can be done with a personal login ID.
2. All employee timestamps are stored in Navisystem access control.
3. The employee's travel information is sent from the Navisystem service to the tax authority via the selected service.

Navisystem offers two alternative ways to transfer employee data

• Reported.fi. The tax authority's own service, through which it is possible to send electronic declarations and information to the Tax Administration.
• Vastuu Group services. We are a partner company of Vastuu Group and our service is compatible with Vastuu Group's construction site register service.

What does the Construction Disclosure Act stipulate regarding employee information?

Main implementer Employee information must be reported if the total value of the construction site contracts exceeds 15,000 euros (VAT 0%) and the site is a so-called joint construction site. A joint construction site is when more than one company works on the site simultaneously or consecutively without delay. If a main contractor or main implementer has not been named, the developer must submit employee reports.
