Information security of our services
We also pay special attention to the system's data security and ensure that no third party has access to the data. We have always considered it important that data is not transmitted through any third party service provider. The vehicle tracking devices used in our service are domestic and send data only to our own system. We provide the service as a cloud service, which users connect to using SSL protection. The server and backup solution we use also meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. Backups are taken daily and the data is backed up in several different ways, because we want to ensure that the data is always safe. User rights are always defined in such a way that only those persons who have the right to it can access the user data. The system's user rights can be easily defined using different roles.
The Navisystem service meets the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
The services provided by Navicom Oy are designed to take into account the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation entered into force on 25 May 2018. The purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation is to increase the openness and transparency of the processing of personal data and to strengthen the rights of data subjects to control the processing of their personal data. According to the Regulation, personal data is all information from which a person can be identified. The provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation apply to both the controller (our Customer) and the data processor (Navicom Oy). By using our services, you can ensure that your company's hour accounting is carried out in accordance with the specifications required by law.
Easy setup
The most common data stored in our system includes, among others, employee personal data, working time records and vehicle driving logs. When you implement Navicom services, you will receive a document from us that explains what data is stored in our services and who manages it. When your company knows what data is stored and how it is managed, you will fulfill your own disclosure obligation regarding the General Data Protection Regulation.
